Responsibilities
Community Development & Engagement
- Design and implement strategies to grow an active and supportive community of creative writers.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with community members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and inspiring environment.
- Manage and moderate forums, social media groups, and other community platforms to maintain engagement and quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community feedback, addressing concerns, and relaying insights to internal teams.
Event Programming
- Plan, organize, and host virtual and in-person events, including workshops, writing sprints, Q&A sessions with authors, and panel discussions.
- Collaborate with industry experts, authors, and publishers to curate compelling events and programs.
- Develop schedules and promotional materials to maximize event attendance and impact.
Content & Resources
- Create and curate resources, discussion prompts, and content tailored to the interests and needs of creative writers.
- Work with internal teams to produce newsletters, blog posts, and other materials to keep the community informed and engaged.
Data & Analytics
- Track and analyze community engagement metrics to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use data to refine community strategies and programming to better serve members’ needs.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, product, customer experience, and other internal teams to align community initiatives with broader company goals.
